Our background...

Nuneaton and Bedworth Healthy Living Network was established in 2003 with almost £1m in lottery funding. The aim was to work with disadvantaged communities to tackle the health inequalities that exist within Nuneaton and Bedworth. The project has been supported by major public sector agencies such as Warwickshire County Council, Warwickshire Primary Care Trust PCT and Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council as well as people and groups within the disadvantaged communities themselves.
HLN has helped individuals living in disadvantaged communities and groups to lose weight, increase physical activity, stop smoking and cope with stress.
